Rarely travel to the north side but these
Naughty Boy freakshakes were just to appealing and I had to get on that instaworthy train. Sadly the drinks didn't taste as good as they looked, but that food was definitely worth the trip!

Left: Pavlova - $12
More of a smoothie than a shake. Great berry flavour, though
it would've been better to incorporate the toppings into the actual
drink to give it a true pavlova flavour. Some passionfruit and kiwi
syrup would've brought that tropical zing to the drink and little
meringue kisses would have added that element of texture.
Right: Chocolate and Nutella Fudge - $12
The shake tasted like chocolate milk, with some hazelnut flavour.
It could've done with a thicker consistency and I definitely think
freeze dried berries within the shake would've again added that fresh zing
and interesting contrast. The brownie on top though was superbly
moist and dense. |

Black Angus Burger - $19
The burger itself was a nice difference to the typical beef burgers you get.
The mustard really shown through, maybe a bit too strong. I loved the
cabbage and sauce. The patty itself was cooked well, but the highlight
of the plate had to be those cheese and bacon balls. A really clever take on
fries, filled with smooth, light mash potato, cheese and bacon bits. It had
a lovely crunchy crumb with good seasoning and flavour. |

Mr Benedict - $17.90
Not the best benedict I've had. Firstly the toast was soggy from
the toppings. There also just wasn't enough of that hollandaise.
It was also quite a mild hollandaise which I thought needed more punch.
The ham hock itself was moist and soft and the eggs were poached well. |
