~Happy New Year Everyone!~
Rustica is famous for their freshly baked cakes and dessert and I had been waiting to try out their dine-in menu for so long. There city store menu is quite limited with several classic dishes. They also stock their freshly baked goods in store and I went home with a pumpkin sourdough which was fab, but nothing beats my mum's pumpkin bread.

Mocha - $3.80 Rich dark chocolate taste. Lots of foam and very smooth coffee |
 |
Chai - $4.50 |

Ocean Trout Their toast was quite dry and hard to cut into, a common trend amongst cafes. The trout was smoked well and the eggs poached perfectly. I loved the sour yoghurt and capers which added some freshness and zing to the dish. I would've preferred more salad/leafy greens and less microherbs. |

Pulled pork eggs benedict - $19 Good price and serving size. The toasted bread was again quite hard and difficult to cut into. The hollandaise contained a bit of a spicy kick to it and was of a great consistency. The pork was tender but could have done with more sauce. Eggs were poached perfectly. |
