Having been recommended this place by multiple foodie friends, I finally had a late start in the city, and decided to make it an early start with breakfast :) The staff were super friendly, although there was a major kerfuffle with the next table's orders that made me timid about our food. Thankfully our food arrived safely, but sadly didn't live up to the hype. I've definitely had better latkes and burgers elsewhere, but the ice teas were on point, although servings were small.

Left: Marylin Ice Tea - $6
Loved it! Strong watermelon flavour. The honey was not
prominent, but kept the tea sweet. Really natural flavours.
Right: Perfume Ice Tea - $6
Really was like a perfume. Sweet floral scents, but not
too overpowering, so it doesn't take like you are spraying perfume
straight into your mouth. Again the tea was great, really refreshing
and natural. |

Pork Belly Kimchese Burger - $20
Their signature, must try dish was sadly a let down. The pork belly,
although marinated and cooked well, barely covered half the burger,
and really left the rest of the burger unsatisfying. To me the bigger
a burger is, the more guarantee that it will taste amazing! Just because
it is packed with so many more ingredients, and you know you won't be left
with just plain bun, which was the case here. Although I loved all the single
components of the dish, including the eggs, although they needed seasoning, the
whole dish just didn't come together. |

Potato Latkes - $16.50
Again a disappointing dish. The latkes were not true potato cakes, more
like a thin net of potato shreds. It was super oily even before you touch the bacon,
and there really needed some sort of sauce or creme to bring the ingredients together.
Overall quite a simple dish, with classic breakfast ingredients, that just did not have
any WOW factor. |
