Review: ChiChi House

Most people probably don't even know where Hughesdale is. It's a quiet little suburb near Chadstone and it never popped up on my food radar until last year, but this cafe has got to be one of the best places in the South East. Both food and drinks were delicious! The staff were super lovely! And it's really good value! Their menu contains classic breakfast items, burgers and even some modern Malaysian food. I will definitely be returning to ChiChi House and recommend you do to!

 

Salmon & Croquette
Perfectly cooked croquettes filled with light potato mash and bacon pieces.
The eggs were poached perfectly with a runny centre.
The tomato relish was the best accompaniment to the dish.

Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict
Soft pulled pork in a BBQ sauce with creamy hollandaise and thick toast.
The hollandaise could've done with more lemon/vinegar.

Hot Chocolate
Great serving size and good balance of sweet and bitter

Chai Latte
Mug size serving
