Review: Three One 2 One

Their spikes shakes definitely spiked my interest. Three One 2 One in Richmond is known for their burgers, of which they have many to choose from, but their spiked shakes really are the secret gem!

Earl Grey Tea - $4.50
Multiple layers of flavour in this tea. Cute presentation!
Black & White Spiked Shake - $15
Bold cookies and cream flavour with that
Kahlua coffee hit. The alcohol wasn't too strong
and the shake was of lovely consistency and texture.
Morning Glory Spiked Shake - $17
I don't normally go for savoury and sweet, but this actually
worked really well together. The bacon added a nice saltiness
to the drink and cut through the sweetness. The maple and
banana was subtle but sweet, letting that Bailey's coffee shine through,
LOVED IT!
Get In My Belly - $15
The pork belly was cooked well, just a bit too fatty. The pickles
and apples added a nice variety of sour and sweet, but overall
not one of my top burgers. The fries on the other hand were pillowy
and crunchy, with a nice exterior texture. Seasoned well too.
Hanh Gri - $17
A moist burger with a mix of beef patty and pulled pork. Not a massive
burger for a name that's a pun on hungry. Not amazing,
but it was the best burgerof the lot though.
Soft Shell Crab Burger - $16
I didn't like the tempura batter. It was just too thick a coat,
with a lot of air pockets within but not much crab sadly.
The crab itself was cooked well, soft and moist but the burger
as a whole could've done with more sauce and flavour.
Also none of us liked the buns they use, they weren't toasted,
didn't have much flavour and just kind of felt flat.
