Review: The Nude Duck Cafe

A new brunch spot in Carnegie. This is a small, cute little cafe close to the station along Koornang Road. They are constantly updating their menu and introducing specials so be sure to check out what they have in store yourself. The staff are super friendly and the food is reasonably priced.

Left: Chocolate Milkshake
Love the presentation. More like a chiller than a milkshake, quite thick and icy.
Nothing exciting in terms of flavour, just your classic chocolate syrup.
Right: Green Power
Lovely mix of kiwi, mango, spinach and coconut water. Good mix of sour and sweet.

Pulled Pork Slider
Cute little slider with a generous serve of wedges. Cheap dish but proportions
are off as you can tell by the picture. Definitely filling enough for a child/small stomach/
snack meal, but wouldn't suffice for someone with a big appetite. I loved the wedges,
they were super crispy and salted well. The slider was quite average though,
lacking sauce and the buns were a bit burnt.

Sausage Omelette
A nice little egg omelette plate with sausage, salad , asparagus and toast on top.
I liked the flavour of the sausage and it was cooked well, as was the asparagus.
However, I would've liked my eggs more pillowy and gooey and the toast honestly
was unnecessary as the dish was already dry with no sauce.
