A popular staple in Amardale, Coin Laundry is a good choice for those looking for some classic brunch dishes. However, their menu is quite limited and dishes simple. It personally, did not live up to the hype and I don't see myself going back anytime soon.

Soy Chai - $4.70 Not a fan of soy based chai or coffee, I just find the soy curdles sometimes and the flavour changes. This definitely did not taste as good as a milk based soy but the mix of spices was good. |

Banana Smoothie Barely any banana flavour, smoothie was quite thin in consistency and needed more spices and flavours incorporated within. |

House Made Baked Beans - $18.50 Good serving size and absolutely packed with flavour. The beans were soft but not mushy. The tomato sauce had good strength of flavour and acidity. The goat cheese was also strong and there was a generous amount of eggs throught. The toast was a bit tough though, but good for soaking up that sauce. |

Coin Laundry Breakfast - $19.50 A smorgasbord of breakfast staples. I loved the presentation of the bacon, however, the rest of spread was poorly laid out with the plate looking quite empty. The beetroot relish was of great texture and flavour. The roast tomatoes could've done with more charring and the wilted spinaches were quite bitter. The portions of meat to vegetables was off, but I loved the glaze and crispiness of the bacon. |
