Review: Paradai II Thai

This place must be good considering they have another store just across the road on Koornang Rd, and in my opinion they were. Not the most amazing thai food I've eaten, but definitely not bad. Serving sizes are relatively small, but with rice it fills you up, and for the price, definitely a cheap eat for uni students.

Pork Belly Stew- $13
New on the menu. A traditional braised pork belly, rich in flavour and taste
It was cooked really tender, however the meat was quite fatty.
Pad Khee Mao - $11 (with chicken)
Classic soy flavoured noodles. The noodle to vegetable ratio was off,
but otherwise good flavour, good variety of vegetables and
the chicken was cooked well, tender and soft.
Gang Dang Curry - $11 (with vegetables)
Never tried a gang dang curry before but this was good. Not very red,
but still full of flavour. Had a good consistency and creaminess.
The basil was definitely prominent.
Soft Shell Crab - $18
Not my favourite soft shell crab. I felt there was more batter
than meat and the glaze, which was of a honey soy flavour,
was nothing spectacular. Serving size was also small.
