Cafe 51 has opened a new store, in St Kilda, dedicated to burgers (and some waffles)! Although their menu is predominantly grease based, if you are looking for a hangover meal or a food therapy fix, Burgerlove may be the calorie dense option for you. I definitely don't recommend eating this on a regular basis. They definitely could introduce some greener sides and ingredients to their burgers, but as it stands, their food is lip-smackingly delicious!

The Mac Daddy - $14 For mac and cheese lovers. It was really tasty. Loved the creaminess of the mac and cheese. It was well fried, with a crispy coating. The sauces really upped the flavour of the burger. The patty was cooked and seasoned well. The whole burger was surprisingly not too salty, however, I would have liked some more vegetables. I think pickles would have gone well in this. |

Left: Nutella Shake - $5 More like nutella flavoured milk rather than a milkshake. It didn't seem like any ice-cream had been used, but I still really liked the flavour. Right: Strawberry Shake - $5 Mine tasted exactly like a Big M. It's something I could've bought this from the supermarket for much cheaper. Until they improve their milkshake consistency, I will not be buying it again. |

Burgerlove - $7 A classic cheeseburger. Good amount of vegetables and sauce. The patty was again cooked well and served in between lovely light buns. |

Fries - $3 The size is so worth the price and these chips were cooked so well. I loved the textured, crispy skin. It had a nice, sort of, crumbly exterior. It was also lightly coated in smoked paprika, which tasted great but could've done with a more even dusting. Otherwise seasoned well. |
