Review: Sitney Parramatta

I guess the lack of customers should have been a cue, but it was one of those nights where no one was decisive and we were just wandering along Church St. I was really craving thai and thought I should try some place new so here we were, the only patrons dining at Sitney...on the plus side we had the whole place to ourselves!

NB: Sitney Parramatta is now closed, but they have a new restaurant open in Canley Vale and are looking to re-open in Parramatta soon.

Tofu Panang Curry - $12.90
Not the best I've had, definitely better suited to mild people.
As with all the servings, there is plenty of sauce and vegetables,
but very little of the protein of choice, here being the tofu.
The tofu however was very nicely fried
Oyster Sauce Seafood Stirfry - $16.90
Lovely flavour, just which there was more fish and less
hard pieces of cabbage disguised as fish.
The fish itself was soft and moist
Salt & Pepper Squid - $14.90
This was the best dish, as always, who doesn't love salt and pepper squid?
Could've done with more lemon and dipping sauce.
In terms of flavour, just enough salt but could've done with more pepper.
Texture was lovely and crispy on the outside with non-chewy squid.
