Review: Bills (Surry Hills)

I rarely go to a celebrity chef's restaurant but here I was at Bills, picked out by my friend for a catch up before he headed off on vacations.

Homemade Almond Macadamia Milk Spiced Chai - $6.50
The chai was too grainy, and spice was minimal. However,
if you are looking for a frothy, creamier tea, this will suit you.

Full Aussie - $25
Loved the sausages, the mushrooms were cooked and flavoured well.
There was plenty of scrambled eggs and the sourdough was nicely toasted

Ricotta Hotcakes, Banana & Honeycomb Butter - $21
The pancakes were cooked really, the batter was so light and fluffy.
I would've preferred the ricotta creamed into the batter rather than
chunks throughout. All together the dish was just really dry, could've
really done with some ice-cream or cream etc.
