Review: Boy & Co

I've been wanting to try this place ever since Urban List wrote about them, this was way before they opened, but since I rarely go into Malvern, it has taken me several months to finally make it here. It is a very simple diner style joint, that specialises in shakes and fries. Not so much somewhere you would go for a meal, but great as a snack or takeaway shop.

Britney Spearmint - $6.50 (medium)
Not the best mint milkshake I've had.
I really like it when they use flavoured ice-cream
in the milkshake rather than just syrup.
Otherwise, the shake was of good viscosity,
thicker than a milkshake but not as thick as a thickshake.
The oreo bits also added a nice texture, but
would've been nice to get some bigger, chewable pieces.
Mr Ferrero's Nutella - $6.50 (medium)
This shake was a bit subtle on flavour. It wasn't
very chocolatey at all and the hazelnut taste was also faint.
Would've been nice to have some actual hazelnuts or
ferreros crushed in and some chocolate ice-cream.
Chilli Cheese Fries - $9 (small)
They're fries weren't the best in the world,
a bit soggy, not sure if from the toppings or not.
In terms of the chilli, it tasted good, but not amazing,
wasn't exactly spicy. Also would've liked more of it
to even out the potatoes and sauce.
