Review: Pho Nom

Went to the Indonesian Film Festival pre-event, and had Pho Nom takeaway, for a meal "under the stars", but really more like "under the umbrella, away from the rain". Still an experience though, and if you are interested in foreign films, be sure to check out the film festival!

Cha Ca Hanoi Fish Banh Mi - $7.50
I actually really liked this flavour, the fish had a flavoursome
marinade. Personally I always prefer Vietnamese bakeries
compared to these franchises, because they are cheaper
and more generous with the fillings, and most importantly
the flavours are more authentic. That being said, if you
are looking a quite, healthy meal on the go, I would always
recommend banh mi, and this one isn't too bad.
Vegetarian Spring Rolls - $5
Their board is so misleading "4 for 5", and of course I interpreted it
the wrong way and assumed there would be 5. That being said, the price
is normal for store-made springs rolls, but I definitely recommended these ones.
They were really crispy, but not oily and the filling is generous and tasted really nice.
