Lifestyle: Coburg Drive-in Food Truck Festival

So awesome that Melbourne has events like this, or just that Melbourne has food trucks, wish it was popular in Sydney. Went to watch Fast 7 with some of my mates, only negative...we went to the later session, so the place was packed with people from the last session and new people rolling in, food was also starting to run out and lines were so darn long. Otherwise, I would definitely like to go again and have a better experience, so early session it is!

Taco - $4.50
Didn't try this, but at least it's something that matches the menu.
Another friend also ordered a burrito from this place and it was good,
generous size and not lacking any ingredients. Also, there chips are amazing,
well cooked and seasoned, like Nandos, but better!
"Cheeseburger" - $10
They ran out of all the different types of burgers and only had
cheese, beef patty, onions and sauce. That being said, this actually
tasted really good, think the sauce did it, but the meat on
the other hand did have some sinew and tough parts.

Yellow Curry -$12
First complaint, charged normal price even when telling people they
had run out of coleslaw. Somehow I still got some, but it had no sauce
and just tasted of bitter, raw cabbage. My friend complained that this was somewhat bland,
but I found it ok. To me it was kind of a mix between simple Asian yellow curry (think Japanese)
and massaman, so it wasn't spicy, but more creamy and you could definitely
taste some nuts and lemongrass. Although I did enjoy the flavour, what I disliked
was the lack of meat and veg in the curry, probably only got 2-3 pieces of chicken and potatoes.
